Culinary Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the high standards of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, including experience with meal planning, cooking techniques, and presentation. You will also be responsible for training new staff members in food preparation, handling, and service procedures.

In addition to your culinary skills, you will also be required to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored. This includes inspecting kitchens and food service areas regularly to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You should also be familiar with standard kitchen equipment and have basic math skills to manage inventory and orders.

This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, including an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.
