Edmonton, Alberta, Canada MBD Landscaping & Snow Removal Full time

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at MBD Landscaping & Snow Removal. As a key member of our crew, you will assist with landscape constructions, tie and secure plants, and perform various other tasks related to grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and other vegetation to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
  • Have good attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Personal Suitability:
  • Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Be reliable and able to maintain a regular attendance record.
  • Be client-focused and able to provide excellent customer service.
