About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interaction Designer to join our team at Aquent Talent. As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digital experiences of our clients in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Lead complex projects, delivering interaction design and visual artifacts that align with the design system and focus on client-first experiences and business objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work within an agile environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members and stakeholders to analyze, design, and convey design vision.
  • Research and Testing: Facilitate usability testing, initiate or participate in research, and perform competitive audits for specific design or business goals.
  • Expertise and Leadership: Act as the interaction design expert for the product design team, provide expert advice and guidance to cross-functional teams, and present interaction design work to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience designing usable interfaces across multiple channels and platforms.
  • Expertise: Expertise and depth of knowledge in Interaction Design theory/tools, experience designing and launching digital products, and ability to perform end-to-end usability testing.
  • Education: BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • UX Research: Hands-on experience with various UX research methods.
  • Systems Thinking: Understanding of systems thinking principles.
  • Advanced Education: MA/MS degree or certification in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field.
