About the Role
At Hitachi Energy, we're advancing a sustainable energy future for all. As a Refurbishment Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our mission by performing mechanism refurbishment activities, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and replacement of components. You'll also be responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of high-voltage switchgear equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform refurbishment activities on control mechanisms of circuit breakers, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and replacement of components.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical assembly of high-voltage switchgear equipment.
- Assist with other tasks as required.
Requirements
- Vocational diploma in electromechanics or equivalent.
- 1 year experience in industrial mechanics, pneumatic and hydraulic fluids, electricity, industrial mechanical and electrical manufacturing, and assembly.
- Experience with manual crimping tools, electric drills, and screwdrivers, vernier calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Ability to assemble components using assembly drawings and component lists.
Work Environment
- Clean, air-conditioned production floor.
- Required clothing: Safety shoes and safety glasses (provided by Hitachi Energy).
- No possibility of remote work.
