The Medical Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients, focusing on their physical and emotional needs. This includes taking vital signs, maintaining patient rooms, supervising exercise routines, managing inventory, bathing, dressing, and grooming patients, as well as preparing patients for surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Maintaining patient rooms, including making beds and keeping areas clean
  • Supervising patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility
  • Managing inventory of supplies to ensure efficient use and minimize waste
  • Bathing, dressing, and grooming patients to maintain personal hygiene and dignity
  • Preparing patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
Work Environment:

The Medical Support Specialist works in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong organizational skills. You will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., nursing, health sciences)
  • High school graduation certificate required; additional education or certifications an asset

  • Basic life support certification (BLS) or equivalent
