Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using GPS equipment and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation, including driver logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Language: English.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: On the road, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
