Job Summary

Venture Elevator is seeking a skilled Elevator Mechanic to join our team. As an Elevator Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and moving walkways
  • Inspect and test electrical and mechanical systems
  • Read blueprints and diagrams to determine work requirements
  • Repair and replace defective parts
  • Adjust and calibrate equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance programs
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems failures
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in elevator installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Elevator Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Canadian Elevator Industry Educational Program
  • Technical Standards Safety Authority (TSSA) Certification
  • Valid driver's license
Working Conditions
