Job Title: Carpenter Helper

M10 Construction Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Carpenter Helper to join our team. As a Carpenter Helper, you will assist experienced carpenters in various construction tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Job Summary:
  • Assist carpenters in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Measure and prepare materials for rigging and hoisting.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Pave and rake asphalt.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-6 months of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
