Job Title: Server - Food and Beverage Services

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at La Rozzi Bistro and Filipino Grocery Ltd. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables.
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
  • Advise customers on menu selections.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages.
  • Supervise other servers and bussing staff.
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Restaurant setting.
  • Urban area.

Language: English.

Work Hours: 40 hours per week.

Work Term: Permanent.
