Key Responsibilities- Zoning and organizing the produce department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate shopping experience.
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise and prevent waste.
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced, adhering to company standards and policies.
- Adhering to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols.
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and ensuring the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
- Stocking merchandise, picking, and downstocking as needed, while applying product protection when required.
- Setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and setting new shelf caps.
