About the Role

We are seeking a Labour Relations Manager to join our team at BC Hydro. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining positive labour relations and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement labour relations strategies to promote positive employee relations and minimize conflict.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on labour relations matters, including grievances and disputes.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to labour relations.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on labour relations matters.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on labour relations and conflict resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as industrial relations, human resources, or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in labour relations, human resources, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
