**Job Title:** Homecare Support Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Homecare Support Associate to join our team at Homecare By Design. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and assistance to our clients.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support services to our clients. You will work closely with our team to develop personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each client. Your primary responsibility will be to provide emotional support, companionship, and daily living assistance to ensure our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
• Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Preparing nutritious meals and snacks
• Laundering clothing and household linens
• Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Assisting with medication management and administration
• Accompanying clients on outings and errands

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be empathetic and patient, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support services. You should also be physically able to perform the demands of the job, which include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Geriatric Certificate, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, or Personal Support Worker Certificate would be an asset. Previous experience in a healthcare or support services role is also desirable.

Work Environment:

You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide seamless support services to our clients.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as mileage reimbursement.
