We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Yugen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
Our restaurant is located in a fast-paced environment, and you will be required to stand for extended periods. You must have attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure.
