We are seeking an experienced Skilled Woodworker and Construction Supervisor to join our team at Blue Water Concepts Ltd. in the province of Ontario, Canada.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $90,000 CAD, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts according to building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, substitutes, steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Prior knowledge of hand tools and heavy equipment operation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to handle physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
