Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) is seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department. As an MRT, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiographic imaging procedures while providing patient-centered care and maintaining radiation safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of technical procedures, including radiographic imaging, to produce high-quality images.
• Review and document patient medical history to ensure accurate and safe examination procedures.
• Assess the diagnostic quality of individual studies and determine necessary corrective measures.
• Perform quality control practices to comply with equipment maintenance and HARP regulations.
• Recognize equipment malfunctions and report immediately to the Senior Technologist or manager.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a recognized school of Radiography.
• Active member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Ability to work without supervision and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, staff, physicians, and volunteers.
