Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at St. Johns Hospital in Vanderhoof, BC. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of dispensed prescriptions, processing medication orders, and maintaining stock levels.
Key Responsibilities- Process medication orders, ensuring clinical review and approval by a Pharmacist
- Receive and verify verbal and non-verbal prescriptions from practitioners
- Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Enter and verify drug and personal health information in the Pharmacy information system
- Maintain stock levels and perform clerical duties as assigned

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service

- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
