Development Officer (Annual Giving and Partnerships)

At VenorTalent, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our clients, including Phoenix, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth and their families. As a Development Officer, you will play a critical role in advancing our client's mission by securing funding and building meaningful relationships with donors and partners.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement annual giving strategies to increase revenue and engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of grants and sponsorships proposals to secure funding.
  • Build and sustain relationships with donors and partners through effective communication and stewardship.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and reports to stakeholders.
  • Engage senior volunteers to support fundraising initiatives and provide donor stewardship.
  • Support the agency's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through learning opportunities and professional development.
  • Work under Phoenix's policies, procedures, and framework of practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience with The Raiser's Edge/NXT database and excellent communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, with a focus on annual giving and partnerships.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships and engage donors in a meaningful way.
