Join Match Marketing Group
Match Marketing Group is seeking motivated individuals to expand our dynamic merchandising team. We support major retailers and brands by facilitating innovative product launches and ensuring in-store sections are updated and ready for new products.
Currently, we are partnering with RONA to assist with the commercial renovation of their stores. As a merchandiser for this project, you will visit various RONA locations to help complete the store renovations.
Key Benefits:
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for 8 weeks.
- Opportunities for additional projects throughout the year, with potential for continuous work and income if you are willing to travel. We cover mileage expenses.
- Independent contractor status.
- Competitive hourly rate:
- Crew Leaders: $20.00/hour ( $18.00 + $2 for the crew leader role) PLUS a potential bonus of $2/hour for each successfully completed store. Total: $22.00/hour.
- Merchandisers: $18.00/hour PLUS potential bonuses of $2/hour for each successfully completed store. Total: $20.00/hour.
Project Locations:
Team 1: 1 Crew Leader and 3 Merchandisers
- Central Market (1011 Rue du Marché Central, Montréal, QC H4N 3J6): August 5 to August 30.
- Pointe Claire (400 Bd Brunswick, Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 5X4): September 9 to October 4.
Team 2: 1 Crew Leader and 5 Merchandisers
- Brossard (7410 Bd Taschereau O, Brossard, QC J4W 1M9): August 12 to September 6.
- NDG (7277 Rue Saint-Jacques, Montréal, QC H4B 1V3): September 9 to October 4.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently assemble, install, and maintain displays, shelves, and installations following planograms and team leader directives.
- Move and organize racks in the store.
- Ensure all products are presentable and aisles are accessible to customers.
- Maintain professional relationships with store employees and management.
- Submit online time sheets and store reports.
- Communicate relevant information to the team leader.
- Travel to assigned sales locations in a designated region.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in home renovation stores, warehouses, manufacturing, or logistics environments is an asset.
- Proficiency with power tools.
- Flexible, reliable, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for the duration of the work shift.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Access to a reliable vehicle, smartphone, and internet.
- Values teamwork and respects the contributions of all team members.
- Steel-toed shoes are mandatory.
