About the Role

Ruskcast Inc is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate metal products.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Maintain Equipment: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality fabrication and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Punctuality and Reliability: Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Hardworking and Team-Oriented: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.

  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Facilitate access to community resources, language training, and skills training to support social and labour market integration.
  • Support for Youth, Veterans, Indigenous People, and Mature Workers: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for these groups.
Work Terms and Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
