Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Job Summary:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms and public areas
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Restock linens, towels, and toiletries as needed
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to achieve team goals and objectives
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect hotel rooms, including bathrooms and kitchens
  • Make beds and change linens as needed
  • Restock amenities, such as toiletries and towels
  • Respond to guest requests, such as extra towels or pillows
  • Participate in deep cleaning tasks, such as cleaning carpets and upholstered furniture
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
