About the Role

As a Logistics Branch Manager, you will report to the Director, Logistics Operations, to provide support and assistance with managing and developing comprehensive Logistics team for Head Office. You will also support the Procurement Manager and Customer Experience Manager as direct reports, located in the head office.

You will be responsible for reviewing processes, performance analytics, and KPIs, and supporting the development and implementation of new KPIs aligned with the growth strategy for the organization. You will also possess an understanding of client relationships and requirements to ensure clarity on strategic development.

You will oversee and direct the activities and resources required to execute Procurement strategies and Customer Experience processes to reach performance objectives. You will also manage and oversee the logistics department performance, including personnel management, providing support/guidance, assistance, training, and coaching as needed.

You will develop strategies and processes around which align with margin increases and general cost reduction objectives for the group. You will also support the team, including sales team, with transportation solutions and help to manage controls to mitigate fraud in the industry.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in 3PL Brokerage.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial capacity, including people management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the transportation industry.
  • Skilled in reporting, including data analysis and KPIs.
