Merchandising Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Brand Momentum. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving success at the retail level by maintaining customer relationships, determining call schedules, and maintaining store shelves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine call schedules by reviewing priorities with supervisor and discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.
  • Maintain customer relationships by visiting with store managers, department managers, and employees, answering their questions, responding to special requests, and describing product features.
  • Maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products, removing damaged or freshness-dated products, tidying store shelves, and providing optimum display of products.
  • Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory, observing inventory levels, prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low, and arranging for return and credit for damaged products.
  • Complete call report by observing the display and pricing of competitors' products.
  • Help field sales representatives with special promotions by setting up displays at aisle ends, checking daily on special promotions, observing customer reaction to special promotions, forwarding observations to management, and removing promotions at the end of special promotion period.
  • Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
  • Enhance merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements:
  • Access to a vehicle is mandatory.
  • Previous merchandising experience (6 months-1 year).
  • Great communication and selling skills.
