About the Role:

The Institute of Public Administration of Canada is seeking an experienced and visionary IT leader to join our executive team as Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Information Officer. This role provides overall vision, direction, and leadership in the effective planning, implementation, and sustainment of information systems and supporting infrastructure technologies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans and budgets and direct activities of the Information Technology division.
  • Provide vision and direction to executive and senior management staff relating to corporate and IT issues, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Achieve corporate strategic plan objectives and department business plan objectives through the effective and efficient utilization of resources.

Requirements:
