About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Installer/Upfitter to join our team at Safe Fleet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for modifying brand-new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work on our Evening Shift (5:00 pm – 1:30 am). If you have experience working on cars and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Job Description
The successful candidate will perform all upfitting tasks, including installing equipment, disassembling and reassembling factory vehicles, and reading electrical schematics. You will work independently, maintain accurate records, and contribute ideas to the company.
Requirements
- Experience working with automotive electrical systems;
- Experience working with automotive mechanical systems;
- Valid driver's license;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
- Constructive team player with a positive attitude;
- Detail-oriented and focused on quality workmanship;
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
