The Trade Development Manager is a key role within the company, responsible for driving business growth and expansion through the identification and acquisition of new accounts. This position requires a unique blend of sales, marketing, and customer service skills to succeed.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Sales and Account Acquisition: Identify and acquire new accounts through targeted sales strategies and techniques.
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers to ensure seamless product delivery and merchandising.
  • Marketing: Coordinate marketing efforts, including product deliveries, account openings, and merchandise resets.
  • Operations: Ensure timely maintenance of company vehicles and accurate record-keeping of vehicle maintenance and routes.
  • Communication: Participate in regular distributor meetings to stay informed and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operating systems, including handheld devices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to drive and maintain company vehicles, with occasional travel required.
  • Ability to perform physical activities related to job duties, including lifting up to 65 pounds individually or with assistance.
  • Must meet standards of physical examinations and substance abuse testing if required.
