Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in British Columbia, Canada. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from stormwater infrastructure to water resources management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and plan stormwater infrastructure for municipal, transportation, and mining projects
  • Collaborate with geomorphologists to develop engineered solutions for river crossings, erosion, and scour protection
  • Work with biologists and landscape architects to design nature-based infrastructure, such as living shorelines and restored wetlands
  • Lead the hydrotechnical component of earth fill dike/dam projects
  • Prepare high-quality design reports and communicate with project teams and clients
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Water Resources or Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in water resources, including design of stormwater systems
  • Experience with CADD design and leadership of designers/drafters
  • Registered as a P.Eng or eligible within 6-12 months
  • Excellent time management skills and strong English verbal and written skills
