Water Resources Specialist

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in British Columbia, Canada. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from stormwater infrastructure to water resources management.
Key Responsibilities- Design and plan stormwater infrastructure for municipal, transportation, and mining projects
- Collaborate with geomorphologists to develop engineered solutions for river crossings, erosion, and scour protection
- Work with biologists and landscape architects to design nature-based infrastructure, such as living shorelines and restored wetlands
- Lead the hydrotechnical component of earth fill dike/dam projects
- Prepare high-quality design reports and communicate with project teams and clients
- Bachelor's degree in Water Resources or Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in water resources, including design of stormwater systems
- Experience with CADD design and leadership of designers/drafters
- Registered as a P.Eng or eligible within 6-12 months
- Excellent time management skills and strong English verbal and written skills
