Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Health Care Aide to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
- Assist with medication administration, including BP monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises.
- Monitor resident well-being and report any concerns to the supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as required, including common area cleaning and laundry.
- Complete all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service plan.
- Provide courteous service to residents and respond promptly to call bells and door alarms.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.
- Medication Certification.
- Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
- Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario applicants) or Criminal Records Check (British Columbia applicants).

Wage Leveling Rate: $29.83 per hour (until wage leveling ends, then pay rate will reflect the collective agreement).
