About the Role:

PRT Growing Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Cold Storage Specialist to join our team at PRT Big River Cold Storage in Big River, SK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the organization of stock and for moving stock in and out of cold storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and receiving
  • Keep neat, detailed, and accurate records including computerized record keeping systems and data entry.
  • Monitor stock quality and inventory
  • Thawing stock prior to shipping
  • Communicating and building relationships with customers and PRT Customer Support Representatives

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License and a valid certification for operating power mobile equipment. (i.e., Forklift) *if not currently certified, must have the ability to acquire certification upon hiring.
  • Level A First Aid certificate
  • Appropriate work attire
  • Great organizational, record keeping and attention to details skills
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to stay calm and think under pressure
  • Professional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45lbs.
  • Commitment to quality and safety
