Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Qualicare Home Care. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding clients.
  • Help clients with mobility and transfer activities, such as walking and using the bathroom.
  • Administer medications and perform other medical tasks as required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • First Aid and CPR certification required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
