Emergency Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Guelph General Hospital.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the emergency department, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, including performing procedures as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments, ordering laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as required
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Canada
- Experience in emergency medicine, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
