Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Headquarters Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage tables, trays, and chairs, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Process payments and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to guests and make recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.

The primary language of work is English.
