About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at It's About Thyme. As a key member of our landscape maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various other tasks related to lawn care and garden maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety.
  • Perform lawn care tasks, such as mowing, raking, and collecting refuse.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers and trimmers.
  • Remove litter and garbage from work sites.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure healthy growth.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality work.
  • Dependability and reliability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Team player with a hardworking attitude.

Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job with varying work locations. You will be required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and wet environments. You will also be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Hours of Work: 40-50 hours per week
