Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Technical Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and refining all technical aspects of the Maya animation production pipeline. This will involve developing and supporting procedures and tools to allow for a streamlined and efficient animation pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust and efficient Maya animation pipeline
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement pipeline improvements
- Design and implement custom tools and scripts to support pipeline operations
- Provide technical support and training to production staff
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and implement best practices in pipeline development
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Maya and Python programming
- Experience creating user interfaces with PyQt/ PySide
- Knowledge of the Linux operating system
- Understanding of the git version control system
- Familiarity with Katana, Unreal, Houdini, and/or USD is a plus
Qualifications
- 2-year diploma or 1-year certificate in a relevant field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in pipeline development or a related field
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $26.44 to $36.32/hr
