About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at JOKO CONVENIENCE. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in the day-to-day operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure the smooth running of our business.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
