As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, hiring and training staff, and developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to ensure effective team performance.
- Purchasing Policies: Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Contract Management: Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, and authorize the development of specifications for products or services.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Reporting: Oversee the analysis of data and information, and prepare reports to inform business decisions.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
