About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our team at Equip Exports Canada Inc. As the President and Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive growth and success
    • Authorize and establish major departments and senior staff positions to support business objectives
    • Establish clear objectives and formulate policies to guide the organization
  • Representation and Communication
    • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives as needed
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers
  • Financial and Administrative Management
    • Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls to ensure efficient operations
    • Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to drive business growth
    • Oversee human resources planning and development to support business objectives
  • Supervision and Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • 3-5 years of experience in a senior executive role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
    • Proficient in MS Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
