Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Virtual Design and Construction Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our VDC Leadership team, you will play a critical role in building and implementing our BIM Execution Plan and VDC strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the VDC Leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive BIM Execution Plan and VDC strategy.
- Understand and interpret owner BIM / Employers Information Requirements (EIR) and utilize custom software tools to prepare model-based deliverables.
- Develop project-specific workflows that leverage BIM data for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling, coordination, field layout, and facilities management.
- Utilize 3D modeling skills to create Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Construction Logistics elements for representation, visualization, and coordination.
- Facilitate reality capture using LiDAR, drones, and 360 photography for model integration, QA/QC, analysis, and visualization.
- Participate in software testing, R&D initiatives, and continue personal and professional growth.
- Develop solutions with project stakeholders through model-based design and constructability review, clash detection, and visualization.
- Generate drawings and construction documents from the BIM using standardized details and workflows.
- University degree or Technology Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, M&E, or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience in BIM Management, modeling, and technologies (preferably on-site).
- High level of knowledge interpreting design and construction drawings.
- Certified in RPAS (Drone) Operator or able to achieve certification.
- Advanced experience in Revit, AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Navisworks required.
- Autodesk BIM360, Revizto, Synchro Pro, and any BIM-related training or certifications considered an asset.
