Job Summary

This position is for a skilled pick-up and delivery driver who will be responsible for delivering to and picking up from customers in the area surrounding the Sudbury terminal. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local area and be able to navigate through it efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver to and pick up from customers in the area surrounding the Sudbury terminal
  • Load and unload trucks for deliveries and meet time-sensitive requirements
  • Communicate with dispatch to resolve any issues regarding deliveries
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask
Requirements
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be hard working, customer-oriented, and have a good knowledge of the local area
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs
  • Forklift qualified (training provided)
  • Comfortable with computers (handheld delivery units - training provided)
  • Comfortable with in-home deliveries to medical patients
  • Valid AZ Driver's License
  • Clean Criminal record
  • Provide Clean Drivers Abstract
  • TDG / Fork Truck Certification (training provided)
  • Able to accept change mid-stream
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player
  • Previous experience with LTL freight and a strong desire to succeed
