Grocery Store Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Grocery Clerk to join our team at The North West Company LP. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, and making product recommendations.
- Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and perform other tasks related to inventory management.
- Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping floors, and maintaining a clean store environment.
- Assist with receiving and processing shipments, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
