About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Diamond Fire Door Corp. as a Spot Welder. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of welds on our metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Welding Specifications: Carefully read and interpret welding process specifications, blueprints, and drawings to ensure accurate execution.
  • Operate Welding Equipment: Safely operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including spot welding machines, to produce high-quality welds.
  • Examine Welds: Inspect welds to ensure they meet our quality standards and specifications.
  • Operate Metal Shaping Machines: Use brakes, shears, and other metal shaping machines to prepare metal for welding.
  • Bond Metal: Use brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams.
Requirements
  • Education: A strong foundation in metal fabrication and welding techniques.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a focus on spot welding.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
