As a Senior Human Factors Engineer at Kinectrics, you will be part of a diverse and supportive team that delivers human factors expertise to power generation utilities and other customers. Your knowledge and experience in human factors methods will be applied to complex problem-solving in a data processing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human factors engineering, with experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing Human Factors Engineering Program Plans (HFEPPs) and verification and validation plans. You will also have expertise in nuclear industry human factors guidelines, task analysis, function analysis, and usability testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement human factors engineering program plans and verification and validation plans
  • Apply nuclear industry human factors guidelines to complex problem-solving
  • Conduct task analysis, function analysis, and usability testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Typically at least nine years of relevant experience in human factors engineering
  • Completion of a 4-year university degree in engineering or science
  • Human factors certification from a recognized body
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer or able to attain the designation
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
