Key Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional leadership, supervision, and mentorship to teachers
  • Assess and respond to student needs in social/emotional domains, life skills, and behavior support
  • Develop and implement effective support systems for at-risk students
  • Collaborate with White River First Nation Government, Educational Support Workers, and community Elders to support student success
  • Implement restorative practices and positive behavioral interventions and supports
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Education or equivalent
  • Experience as an educational leader, providing instructional leadership and supervision
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teachers and create a collaborative team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff members, and community agencies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with First Nation students and communities
  • Knowledge of the Upper Tanana language and White River First Nation culture
  • Ability to implement enhanced programming in the K-12 curriculum
