About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Aerospace Engineer in our Cabin Interior department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our aircraft interiors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and evaluate new technical concepts and emerging technologies to improve our products and processes.
  • Validate these concepts in our Innovation laboratory with actual mockups.
  • Organize and attend design reviews, considering industry regulations, Bombardier Aerospace design practices, and requirements.
  • Act as the focal point between our multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers.
  • Prepare engineering documentation to support design activities.
  • Help suppliers understand and follow our processes and best practices.
  • Find and propose opportunities for product and process improvement.
  • Review specifications for accuracy across documentation.
  • Be mindful of potential technical issues and propose design solutions.
  • Support and attend weekly quality and engineering meetings.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience working with Catia V5/Enovia/VPM NAV, MS Excel, and Word.
  • Relevant technical experience in aircraft interiors completions (considered an asset).
  • Good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changes.
