Lead Nursing Role in Addiction Medicine Program

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead our Addiction Medicine Program team. This dynamic role requires a strong clinical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients recovering from various addictions within a therapeutic milieu environment.
  • Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as assigned, directing the work of others and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Participate in clinical discussions, team meetings, and patient/family conferences to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely reporting to management.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse with the CNO, in good standing.
  • BScN preferred, with 2+ years of experience working with patients who have a broad range of addiction and psychiatric diagnoses.
  • Proven ability to assume leadership roles and demonstrate sound clinical judgment based on current best practices and patient-centered care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
