Senior Internal Auditor

At Maple Leaf Foods Inc., we are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor - Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of various operational audit and value-add consulting engagements. This role will provide exposure to all areas of the business, with the opportunity to deliver real value and become uniquely positioned to pursue a long-term career path within or outside of Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities- Planning and executing a variety of unique and challenging engagements within expected timelines
- Documenting findings clearly in working papers and preparing draft audit and advisory reports
- M Meaningfully participating in presenting engagement findings to senior management
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in audit/assurance/consulting, with a strong background in financial systems and controls. A CPA, CA designation is required, with an MBA, CIA, or CISA designation being an asset. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are also necessary.
