Clinical Operations Planning & Feasibility Associate Director

At GlaxoSmithKline, we're committed to harnessing the power of data and expertise to drive clinical trial success. As we continue to push the boundaries of science, we need a skilled professional to lead our clinical operations planning and feasibility efforts.

This role will be responsible for creating data-driven insights and models to support clinical operations project and study teams. You'll work closely with our local country teams to lead the site feasibility process and provide timely, high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize internal and industry data sources, along with data analytics, to generate insights for clinical trial planning.
  2. Identify risks and challenges to optimize clinical trial protocol design using current and emerging data sources.
  3. Lead the site feasibility process in partnership with local country teams.
  4. Provide timely, high-quality deliverables, including recruitment plans, feasibility country pre-selection and final selection recommendations.
  5. Support the assessment, piloting, and embedding of new data analytics and data sources to ensure access to best-in-class solutions.
Basic Qualifications:

We're seeking professionals with the following skills and qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Excellent project management skills gained in a complex matrix organization.
  3. Results-oriented with a drive to set and reach challenging goals with high standards for performance.
  4. Ability to analyze data from divergent sources and translate it into meaningful recommendations.
  5. Knowledge of Agile methodology.
  6. Experience utilizing industry clinical trial-related data sources.
  7. Experience with data manipulation, visualization, or advanced analytics.
  8. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
