Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Waycon Manufacturing Ltd. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of metal structures, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures, including beams, columns, and other metal components, using various metalworking techniques and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain metal fabrication equipment, such as saws, drills, and presses, to ensure efficient and safe production.
  • Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting quality standards.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure that all fabricated products meet our quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new fabrication techniques and processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and assembly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy metal components.
