Plumbing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Oakleaf Home Services.

This is a permanent position offering an estimated salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

The Plumbing Specialist will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. This includes:

• Installing domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
• Repairing leaks, clogs, and other issues with plumbing systems
• Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Locating and marking positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
• Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
• Joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
• Testing pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
• Determining piping system requirements and pipe sizing
• Supervising other workers

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and relevant certifications, such as a Plumber Trade Certification and a Driver's License (Class 3 or D).

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship training in plumbing (level one to five)
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
