Job Title: Senior Bodily Injury Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bodily Injury Examiner to join our team at OTIP RAEO. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for investigating, quantifying, analyzing, adjusting, and settling complex property and casualty claims in excess of $250,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyze complex claims to determine liability and quantum
  • Develop and implement effective claims strategies to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and claims specialists, to ensure seamless claim handling
  • Communicate with insured members, vendors, and other external parties to resolve claims efficiently
  • Manage and maintain accurate and detailed claim files, including documentation and records
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, case law, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education and/or college diploma in a related field
  • CIP designation and/or adjuster's license
  • 7-10 years of experience in casualty claims handling, including litigation file management
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including medical rehabilitation concepts and case law
  • Excellent investigation and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
