We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to work in our post office, providing counter services to customers and handling mail and packages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Selling postal products and services to businesses and individuals;">
  • Sorting, distributing, and processing mail into appropriate classifications;">
  • Providing customers with information and forms;">
  • Addressing delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A high school diploma or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration;">
  • Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions;">
  • An understanding of general or post office accounting systems;">
  • Physical fitness to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time.">

Salary and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $18.44 per hour, based on the location and industry standards. Additionally, employees of Canada Post enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
